The SEAT methodology enables information to be gathered
on each operation and their neighboring communities, identify
and assess the impacts they produce, develop responses
and communicate results.
In this process the company operation or business unit
must respond to 18 questions that are divided into four
clearly defined stages. It is a sequential model in which
the respondent must correctly answer each question before
passing to the next. Where the respondent cannot answer
the question, SEAT has a series of instruments available
to remedy the situation and allow the respondent to move
on the next question and complete the questionnaire.
