ENAMI (National Mining Corporation) exercises purchase
option on the deposit.

Compañía Minera Mantoverde S. A. purchases the deposit.

Program implemented with metallurgical tests to assess the feasibility of developing the deposit on a large scale.

Anglo American exercises purchase option and the deposit
becomes part of its subsidiary Empresa Minera de Mantos
Blancos S.A.

Industrial development of the Mantoverde deposit begins.

Anglo American acquires 99.97% of Minera Mantos de
Blancos S.A

Operation Mine begins, under which the mining work is performed exclusively by Anglo American Chile employees.
