Collahuasi is a mining company producing fine copper cathodes and copper concentrate.
In 2008 the company produced 464,000 tonnes of fine copper.
The Anglo American Group has a 44% interest in the company.
Xstrata plc owns the same interest, while the remaining
12% belongs to a Japanese consortium led by Mitsui &
Co., Ltd.
