Soldado Division
Located in Region V in Nogales, 132 kilometers from Santiago
and at 600 meters above sea level.
It has both an open pit mine and an underground mine,
crushing plants and facilities for the treatment of oxide
and sulfide ore.
In 2008 the division produced 49,791 tonnes of fine copper, including cathodes and
copper concentrate.
El Soldado Division has approximately 1,400 workers, including company employees
and external contractors for operations and projects.
