At Anglo American Chile
we believe it is essential to establish long term, mutually
beneficial relationships with our suppliers of goods and
services. This is set out in our Principles
of Good Citizenship, which also contain lines
of action to encourage professional, ethical conduct.
To optimize ties with our suppliers, in 2003 we launched
, an online platform that automates our company’s supply
chain processes, providing our goods and services suppliers
with a user-friendly, efficient and dependable system.
Our goal for 2007 is to have 90% of our purchase orders
and requests for estimates processed through this online
system.
